Born in Viterbo (7-13-1975); PhD in Horticulture; Associate Professor in Horticulture (AGR/03) at the Department of Agriculture and Forest Sciences (DAFNE), University of Tuscia, Viterbo (Italy). Main research areas: Preservation and exploitation of biodiversity and study of genetic resources of fruit crops; Analysis of production factors of fruit crops;

Quality of fruit production; Propagation of fruit species; Agro-biotechnologies applied to temperate fruit species. Foreign experiences: He worked for one year in the Oregon State University (USA) in the “Breeding Program of European Hazelnut”. He has got invitations for cultural exchanges and conferences in many foreign research centers and academics involved in hazelnut research (Inia – Carillanca, Chile; SAF Sichuan and Beijing, China; Ordu University, Turkey; Irta Reus-Constantì, Spain). The research activity is shown by 72 publications issued on international journals (traced on Scopus), in some book chapters and in other many publications in national journals and proceedings
